I feel dirty! I am being manipulated by these bastards! How bad will it be for my boys? How dumbed down will civic society become?

Will they question their political, social environment? If I have anythimg to do with it.......you better believe it!

I agree. I mean we did not have all these guidlines and my kids are ok. And our parents have brought us up to be fine, healthy ,well balanced, well....ok, they may have needed some help.
Seriously, if we did all we were told to do with children, they would never be let out of the womb. For their own saftey of course.

I think she must be viewing your questions as intrusion in her area. Try to combine them with other general ones.
More than anything you need her support and you have to therefore frame your interaction in such a way that she feel comfortable.
